India is all set to host first-ever Jodhpur Flamenco and Gypsy Festival from March 13 to 15 2014. The three day fest will feature live music and dance events to entertain festival goers booking travel and hotel packages for holidays to the country.

Internet sources further reveal that the very first edition of this music and dance extravaganza will bring together the artists of flamenco traditions and other musicians from different Gypsy traditions under one roof in the Mehrangarh Fort in India.

Some of the biggest names in the Spanish musical fraternity industry such as Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona, Chano Dominguez, Augustin Carbonel ‘El Bola’ and Karen Lugo are expected to grace the occasion. Helmed by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, this fest to be held at the Mehrangarh Fort will serve as a one-stop place for artists from different traditions and nationalities to learn from each other.
