Indian air carrier Jet Airways has announced a range of new flights from Hyderabad for the summer season.

UK travellers on flights to Hyderabad will have a wider range of options this summer, as Jet Airways has announced plans to develop a mini-hub at the city’s airport.

This will mean that onward domestic flights to Bhubaneswar, Vijaywada, Jaipur and Nagpur will be even easier from March 27th onwards.

Flights from Hyderabad to Bhubaneshwar and Jaipur will run on a daily basis, while Nagpur and Vijaywada will be served six times per week.

Furthermore, the airline is also set to offer direct connections to Bhopal and Indore as well as providing additional flights to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Visakhapatnam and Chennai in its summer schedule.

Jet Airways’ fleet of Boeing 737 and ATR 72 aircraft is able to offer a range of same-day connections within India, between the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.

Flights available from the airline include 47 domestic and 24 international destinations.

Earlier this month, Jet Airways celebrated International Woman’s Day by running a special in-flight film festival.
