As the 2nd edition of India’ Grand Prix approaches near, demand for rooms in India go through the roof. A number of tourists are making reservation for flights and hotels, propelling the costs.
Those who missed their flights and hotels bookings for Formula One in India are likely to shell a lot extra if they hope to do so now. The F1 event at the Buddha International Circuit (BIC) is turning out to be a huge hit with a large number of foreigners taking flights to the country to enjoy the riveting affair.
Slated to take place in the outskirts of the India’s capital city, New Delhi, the second edition of Indian Grand Prix will be held at BIC in Greater Noida from October 26 to 28 this year. Media reports reveal that most of the luxury properties in the region have witnessed a great spurt in room bookings, with many travellers making reservations for the rooms along with their flights bookings.
Reports tell that during the Grand Prix, hotels in the area are offering their rooms for around 50-70 per cent higher tariff than the average.
Formula One is a highly anticipated event and remains a hot favourite among sports enthusiasts all over the globe. Approximately 100,000 spectators are expected to watch the race, with a good percentage of them being foreign tourists, who will take flights to the country and those who are already in the nation.
