Hyderabad will have a host of events to keep visitors entertained around World Tourism Day.
Hyderabad has announced its itinerary for the upcoming World Tourism Day and surrounding week which runs from September 21st to 27th.
Special chief secretary of the tourism department Chandana Khan said that the Shilparamam Sculpture Park will be inaugurated by tourism minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar, reports IBNLive.
The site will exhibit the artworks, which have been made from scrap at the nearby state art gallery in Madhapur, among others.
September 22nd is a busy day in Hyderabad as not only will books on the biodiversity of Nallamalai and Araku be released, but the Suranjali Foundation will also run a music programme.
The day will culminate with the end of the heritage run from Chowmohallah Palace to the finish line at the Quli Qutub Shahi Tombs.
Throughout the whole week, restaurants and hotels will be running a food festival and September 26th will see a vintage car rally.
