People booking holidays to Mumbai may be interested to know that the city’s highest roof-top bar has now opened.
Anyone arriving on flights to Mumbai may want somewhere to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the city before embarking on a sight-seeing tour.
If they decide to visit the city’s latest bar, then they could be treated to a unique experience.
A rooftop bar, called Aer, is located 34 floors above the streets on the Four Seasons Hotel.
Promising “panoramic city and sea views and [an] endless ceiling of sky and stars,” this nightspot could be the perfect choice for a romantic drink or a fruity cocktail.
Commenting on the design, Aer’s manager Shaijo Rajan said: “There’s nowhere else like it in the city. You are so high up, you feel as though you have been transported to a different place.”
The bar will be open from 17.30 to 01:30 local time each day, with champagne and cocktails sold at half price for the first three hours.
Mumbai boasts a number of ornate religious landmarks, including the Mahalaxmi Hindu Temple and the Haji Ali Mosque, as well as the iconic Gateway of India.
