Tourists will find it easier to cruise from Goa from next month.
Tourist authorities have found a way of making it easier for people catching flights to Goa to then head out to sea on a cruise ship.
All of the boat operators including the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) that use the Santa Monica jetty have agreed to introduce a new standardised ticket.
The common pricing is expected to reduce congestion in the popular tourist hotspot and enhance people’s experiences.
Visitors interested in going on a cruise can pick up the new uniform ticket from general booths around the jetty from November 1st.
The announcement was made by GTDC chairman Nilesh Cabral who was joined by representatives of the four other private cruise boat companies from the jetty and he said: ” We have come together in the interest of Goa.”
All five cruise firms have two boats each and these vessels will work on rotation, starting at 5:30 pm and then departing Santa Monica every 15 minutes.
