Goa, India’s premier beach destination, has inaugurated white water rafting facility in Sattari region. Heaps of foreign tourists are expected to grab air tickets on flights to the destination to enjoy the experience.
Goa, a top draw in India that entices hordes of tourists to look for flights, is ready with yet another temptation for national and international tourists. The smallest Indian state has recently commissioned white water rafting in the green environs of Sattari, offering a major push to state’s agenda of becoming a 365-day holiday destination and enticing more vacationers to get hold of tickets on flights landing in India.
State’s Chief Minister inaugurated the facility that has come up as a collaborative venture of Goa Tourism Development Corporation and Southern River Adventure Sports Pvt Ltd.
Adventurous souls who book tickets on flights to the region in a bid to explore the many charms of India are surely in for a treat. Adventurers would be required to walk through the hamlet of Ustem in Nagargao village for getting to the starting point of the rafting course.
Sports enthusiasts will be provided with rafts, paddles and life jackets. For safety and for providing assistance, a trained guide will be aboard on each raft.
Authorities hope that the initiation of white water rafting will tempt more foreigners who plan India tour to grab flight tickets to the coastal state. Apart from the thrilling ride, one can also check out the wonderful surroundings of the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary. Even a sighting of a wild animal or two is not ruled out.
