Work to boost the size of Goa’s cruise boat jetty will get underway this week.
Work begins in Goa tomorrow (October 24th) to add further tourism facilities to the popular resort.
Many people are expected to catch flights to Goa over the next few months, as the state’s tourism season begins to hot up and authorities in the region are keen to ensure that they enjoy a great stay.
The current cruise boat jetty is set for a major rejuvenation in the hope of not only accommodating more boats, but also allowing tourists to use the area to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that are on offer.
“Existing cruise boats will continue to operate from the same location as arrangements have to [be] made in such a way that the boats are not displaced nor is business affected,” an agency official told the Herald.
The 100-metre jetty will be extended by around 50 per cent and have a new deck space of 4,551 square metres.
