Goa hosts latest tourism drive

Goa aims to remain popular with tourists by hosting a specialist event.

Goa is already one of the most popular tourism locations in the whole of India, but the state is not about to rest on its laurels.

Officials in Goa chose Panaji to be the location of their most recent tourism push.

The three-day event was inaugurated last Friday (September 21st) by chairman of the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Nilesh Cabral and aimed to highlight just some of the opportunities that are on offer to visitors to the region.

Goa is  renowned all over the world for its beautiful beaches, but it also has a thriving adventure tourism scene, as well as a fascinating history.

Information about the multitude of Indian festivals such as the upcoming Diwali was also on offer for those keen to learn more.

The GDTC is planning to host similar events all over India with a show in Himachal Pradesh already in the pipeline.
