Passengers flying to India with Jet Airways may wish to take advantage of a new partnership with a luxury train company.
Travellers booking flights to India with Jet Airways may now be able to benefit from a new partnership between the airline and a luxury train company.
Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation is offering passengers of Jet Airways a special Indian holiday package on the Golden Chariot Train.
Those arriving on a flight to Bangalore can then take the luxury train to historic destinations and sights including Goa, Kabini, Sharavanabelagola, Mysore, Hampi, Badami Caves, Halebid and Pattadakai.
Passengers who have arrived on flights from New Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, Chennai and Ahmedabad within India, as well as London, will be offered the package.
A new magazine will accompany the Indian train tour, explaining the context behind the historical destinations.
“Sutradhar will narrate the stories of this land in an exciting manner,” explained the rail company chairman Siraj Sheikh.
“This will be yet another piece of showcase literature for travellers to Karnataka to read,” he added.
Bangalore is located in the south of India and is the capital of the Karnataka region.
