People booking flights to India expect to find that the country’s cities are some of the world’s most vibrant, with a unique atmosphere and rich cultural customs. However, with a sale period of 13 weeks, it is also a great place to pick up a bargain.
Delhi was ranked as the tenth best city for shopaholics in the list by Global Blue, which analysed 270,000 of the world’s leading retailers, shopping brands and hotels.
“In Delhi globe shoppers have good opportunities for bargaining and the city is ranked second on the index. It also scored well on climate and tourist sites,” the report commented.
Bangalore and Mumbai also polled in the top 25 cities, while Hong Kong was named as the best shopping city in the Asia Pacific region.
