Virgin Atlantic has praised the development of a number of new hotels including a new establishment in Dubai.

The company recently market the opening of the five-star Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and has named some hotels that are set to boost tourism across the world.

In particular, Virgin stressed that the Palazzo Versace could encourage more people to take flights to Dubai when it opens towards the end of the year.

Situated in the Dubai Creek area, the hotel will offer a range of luxury rooms, suites and condos. Guests will also be able to enjoy treatments at the Palazzo Versace Spa or visit the fitness centre with sauna, steam room and indoor pool.

A construction update in September last year confirmed that the resort is now 81 per cent complete.

Virgin Atlantic offers flights to Dubai from London Heathrow as well as other long-haul destinations such as to Shanghai, Boston, Delhi, Lagos and Tokyo.
