England International Michael Owen has praised Dubai for its clean and welcoming environment.
Writing in the Daily Mail, the Manchester United striker explained that his family prefer to explore a city or country rather than stick to a break in a luxury hotel or resort and he has travelled to a large number of destinations but has a strong liking for Dubai.
“The climate is superb in winter and there are plenty of activities for our children. It’s hard to dislike a place that tries so hard: everything is usually the biggest or the best. Dubai is also very safe, secure and clean,” said Owen.
He added that like a number of England players, he also purchased a property in Dubai after training in the state prior to the 2002 World Cup and although he has now sold it, he still takes flights to Dubai every two to three years.
