New figures have revealed that Dubai hotels remain popular with overseas tourists.
It seems the popularity of Dubai as a holiday destination is showing no signs of abating this year.
According to the latest figures from Ernst & Young and TRI Hospitality Consulting, Dubai hotels recorded a stable performance in the first six months of 2012.
The research shows that people are also prepared to pay more money for luxury, as the revenue per available room figure increased by 10.3 per cent over the same period.
Dubai hotels are only the beginning of the splendour that is on offer in the emirate and tourism authorities in the city are keen to ensure that visitors have a great time even when they leave the comfort of their room.
As well as bringing many of the world’s top stars to its stages, Dubai is looking to make itself more family-friendly by offering a range of children’s attractions.
In addition to the Children’s City, there is now the Wonderland in Dubai, Magic Planet and Encounter Zone.
