Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel will compete in Bangkok’s Race of Champions.

Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher and current F1 supremo Sebastian Vettel have become the latest big names to be confirmed for the Race of Champions this year.

The pair have joined the likes of Jenson Button and David Coulthard in committing to the hi-jinks and horsepower event at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium on December 15th and 16th.

Germans Schumacher and Vettel have teamed up to win the first part of the event – the Race of Nations – for the last five years and are keen to add to their impressive record this time.

Schumacher in particular is looking forward to the event as he has never raced in Thailand before.

“Racing in a stadium is sensational – and it’s a very different experience for us drivers to hear the fans so close,” he added.

Last year’s Race of Champions final was won by France’s Sebastien Ogier.
