Those taking cheap flights to Australia this summer could enjoy some boating fun as part of the annual Queensland Season of Sailing event.
Holidaymakers heading off on cheap flights to Australia for a Queensland holiday could be interested in heading to a sailing event due to be held in the region.Between September 3rd and 7th, the fourth annual Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week will be held as part of the Queensland Season of Sailing.Those keen to get as up close to the action as possible could board the Sunferries’ spectator boat and get a great view of all the sailing fun.
To mark the event, Queensland’s Season of Sailing is running a number of “stay and sail” holiday packages which could tempt those taking cheap flights to Australia to hire a boat and sail off into the sunset.
The packages include day cruises as well as charter boat holidays for those with a little more experience of life on the waves.
Magnetic Island is one of the most famous backpacker spots in Queensland and is a great base from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef.
