People looking to take a holiday in Australia’s Northern Territory this October may be interested in attending one of several events taking place in Alice Springs.
The first festival of the month, taking place on October 2nd, is the DesArt in the Park – which is an art market with a difference.
Situated in the Alice Springs Desert Park, visitors can enjoy the market during the day and then by night be entertained by the live performances, offerings of local Australian food and a selection of films from central Australia.
On October 3rd, the following day, people on holiday in Australia may wish to enjoy an all-day music festival celebrating indigenous artists and bands.
The BassInTheDust Festival is “one of the Northern Territory’s best musical events of the year”, according to Australia.com and has an “impressive lineup” including artists from the area as well as other Australian bands.
Holidaymakers visiting further south may want to tackle the longest golf course in the world, newly opened in western and south Australia. The course follows the Eyre Highway, with one of the 18 holes in each participating roadhouse or town.
