A Western Australian marine resort is offering tours of Steep Point, the country’s most westerly point, this year.
Visit Australia this year and you will be able to take in the most westerly point of the country, Steep Point, thanks to Ocean Park Aquarium’s newest 4WD tour.
The coastal destination is a real must-see for animal-loving visitors to Shark Bay, according to Ocean Park’s owner Ed Fenny.
“Steep Point is one of Australia’s true hidden treasures and an area that many travellers don’t even know about,” he said.
Interesting wildlife that can be seen off the coast include the big five – dugongs, turtles, sharks, dolphins and sting rays, he continued.
Travellers taking flights to Australia to satisfy their need for adrenaline won’t be disappointed either, as Ocean Park’s tours include some extreme off-road 4WD driving.
Other attractions include the famous Zuytdorp cliffs, the South Passage and Thunder Bay.
Ocean Park is Shark Bay’s premier aquarium, with hourly shark feeding sessions and several interactive exhibits, as well as 4WD coastal tours.
