Travellers flying out for a holiday to Australia may wish to head to Sydney, which a travel writer has described as almost incomparable.
“Sydney really did get the looks when God made The Lucky Country,” wrote Jane Memmler for the Express.
“It’s difficult finding a comparable city with such gorgeous attributes,” she continued.
Ms Memmler said the city had plenty on offer from the beaches with “stunning” cliff walks and perfect surfing conditions, to the award-winning restaurants and lively bars by night.
She recommended food-lovers try a cheese and wine tasting experience with a difference with cheesemakers McIntosh and Bowman.
Visitors on the experience are taken to an uninhabited island in Sydney harbour by ferry for a lesson in how to taste cheese.
For those looking for some nightlife, Ms Memmler suggested the new Ivy Club which has an “array of themed rooms” including a sushi bar and a gentleman’s club room.
Travellers flying to Sydney between June 3rd and 14th may wish to head to the Sydney Film Festival that will include nine world premieres.
