Food-lovers who are planning holidays to Australia may want to visit Adelaide to take advantage of the gourmet tours on offer in the city.
People booking flights to Australia may want to consider taking a trip to the southern city of Adelaide, where four new gourmet-food tours are now on offer to visitors.
The walking tours, called Insiders Adelaide, have been launched by a specialist food and wine operator in the region.
Holidaymakers have a wide range of choices, from the Market Culture tour – which takes in the city’s potters and cheeseries – to the East End Pub Culture route – which explores some of Adelaide’s more unusual venues.
Walkers can look forward to sampling fresh oysters at the Oyster Bar or indulge in a sweet treat, such as a hot chocolate from Chocolat.
There are also tours based on the art and history of the city that offer culinary delights as the tourists discover some of Adelaide’s best-kept secrets.
Lasting between two and four hours, these walks are a great way to get to know South Australia’s capital, which also boasts an extensive range of shops and activities such as sailing for visitors to enjoy.
