Colin Salmon wants to go to Australia

Colin Salmon could be about to book flights to Sydneynow his Strictly Come Dancing run has come to an end.

The actor, who is perhaps best known for his role in the James Bond movies, made it to week five of the competition before being eliminated.

Speaking to the Telegraph this week, he revealed he has never been to Australia before and would like to visit the country.

Now could therefore be a great time for him to take a trip to places such as Sydney and Melbourne to see what is on offer.

Salmon said he loves to be by the sea when he is on holiday, as well as to engage with the locals.

“I like to feel that I’m part of the community and I’m quite a friendly guy, so I tend to get out there and mix it up a bit,” he commented.

The actor went on to advise travellers to go abroad with an open heart and an attentive and polite manner.

Indeed, he said he has learned on previous trips abroad that a smile can go a very long way.
