Works of art by some of the top artists in and around Perth are on display.
Art lovers booking holidays to Perth in Australia can check out some amazing contemporary works at the city’s Mundaring Art Centre.
Situated in the heart of Mundaring town, just outside Perth, the arts venue operates out of a quaint old post office building situated in the creative hills community.
It specialises in arts and crafts produced across Western Australia, promoting their work through various displays and exhibitions.
Between June 8th and July 8th, the main gallery will be hosting a collaborative exhibition of works by female textile and wood artists, called New Growth.
There will also be a special focus on indigenous artists from Western Australia’s metro area and the south west.
Names such as Athol Farmer and Graeme Taylor will be showing their works through Noongar Artists in Focus, with the exhibition set to include contemporary aboriginal paintings, works on paper and those influenced by the traditional Carrolup style.
The arts centre also has a gift shop where you can buy textiles, jewellery, glassworks and homewares, with the work of 350 local artists available to buy.
