People booking holidays to Australia may want to take time to visit Cape Tribulation, which has been selected as one of the world’s top tropical paradises.
Cape Tribulation in Queensland, Australia, has been named as one of the world’s most incredible tropical paradises.
In a list published in the Daily Telegraph, the destination on the north-east coast of the country was one of ten selected as a must-visit tropical spot.
Tourists that make the journey can look forward to “gorgeous beaches, reefs and ancient rainforest that extends right to the water,” according to the publication.
Other highlights include the mangrove boardwalks, amazing animal and plant life and its mountain backdrop.
As it is located in the far north of Queensland, the destination is just 40 minutes away from some of the most unspoilt regions of the Great Barrier Reef.
The Daintree Rainforest, which reaches to the shore, has been designated a world heritage site, as has the barrier reef.
Activities available for holidaymakers include everything from walking or snorkelling to relaxing with a massage or bird watching.
