Turkish Airlines has launched double daily flights between Birmingham and Istanbul, providing greater choice and flexibility to passengers.

The carrier began operating from Birmingham Airport with five flights a week to Istanbul in December 2008. Turkish Airlines, since then, has boosted its frequency every year and has now reached 14 flights in a week.

Paul Kehoe, Chief Executive, Birmingham Airport, added, “I congratulate the Turkish Airlines team on doing a great job here in the region and increasing passenger numbers year-on-year, and for further committing to Birmingham Airport and the wider region.
