Tourism authorities in Thailand have launched a new campaign to draw attention to Thailand as an affordable destination.
A new campaign has been launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which aims to highlight the affordability of the country and entice Brits to book cheap flights to Bangkok and other Thai locations.
As part of the initiative, “fun, informative and easy-to-read” brochures are being printed in London for UK audiences, Opodo quotes the agency as stating.
Of the 80,000 due to be produced, 50,000 will be enclosed in copies of the Mail on Sunday.
The agency’s director for London stated: “Thailand is leading the way as a value for money holiday destination and in light of recent changes in consumer purchasing patterns and spending behaviour, we saw an opportunity to showcase this.”
In the opinion of journalist Mishal Husain, who was writing for the Daily Mail this week about her recent trip to Thailand, its capital city Bangkok and the surrounding areas have everything a traveller could need, from relaxing rural landscapes to the hustle and bustle of a big city.
