Thai Airways to Commence Ahmedabad – Bangkok Flights
Holiday makers and business travellers who are often in search of flights tickets on the India-Thailand sector would be pleased to know that Thai Airways International will initiate a direct flights service on Ahmedabad-Bangkok route from April 1. The announcement was made by the Thailand’s Ambassador to India, Pisan Manawapat.
“ … Thai Airways International will begin the first direct flight from Ahmedabad from April 1,” Mr Manawapat was quoted in different media sources as saying at the 6th edition of ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ summit. Gujarat is the western coastal state of India and Ahmedabad is its most prominent business hub.
There was no mention about the frequency of flights on the route.
The flights service would be delightful news for keen flyers, in particular the people of Gujarat as it will allow them to book direct flights tickets to the extremely popular holiday destination, with no need to first book tickets to Indian holidays destinations like Mumbai or Delhi for their trips to Thailand.
Thai Airways International is not only the flag carrier of the country but also the largest airline of Thailand. From its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the operator offers tickets deals to patrons on flights to 75 destinations in 35 countries, with a fleet of over 80 aircraft.
The carrier offers flights tickets for direct services from at least eight cities of India.
