Flights to Thailand are, for the first time by Finnair, being offered direct from Finland and in recognition of such a development the airline has worked to improve comfort levels on its Leisure flights.
Sales manager of Finnair Leisure flights Heidi Niemenlehto-Jarvinen said that passengers will now be able to enjoy levels of comfort currently offered to business class travellers on scheduled flights.
The Finnair Leisure flights to Phuket, Thailand, from Helsinki will operate four times a week from November 6th.
Passengers travelling in comfort class will benefit from lie-flat seats and extra leg room, while those in economy class will have seats featuring adjustable neck supports.
Two hot meals will also be available to customers travelling on the new flights free of charge.
While people who have already booked their flights to Thailand for this summer may not be able to make use of Finnair’s new service, there will be plenty of activities to take part in once in the country.
For example, those with an interest in boating may wish to head to Phuket in time for the annual Phuket Raceweek, which begins on July 22nd this year.
