The Parlotones will promote a new environmental drive at an upcoming gig in South Africa.
Anyone who has taken a flight to Cape Town could check out eco-warriors The Parlotones in a concert organised to promote awareness of the CarbonWorx Carbon Free campaign.
The group has previously lent their musical talent to projects such as Live Earth, Earth Hour and Run For Water, as well as all taking part in Meat-Free Mondays as part of their environmental efforts.
Taking the stage at the Grand West Casino’s Grand Arena venue in Cape Town on August 6th, fans will be treated to tracks from a range of albums such as Radiocontrolledrobot, A World Next Door To Yours and Stardust Galaxies.
As well as enjoying The Parlotones’ music, attendees can expect to find out a lot more about the CarbonWorx drive, which invites people to calculate their carbon footprint and buy trees to offset their impact.
The gig, which costs between 175 rand and 250 rand (£15.95 to £22.80), begins at 19:45 local time.
