South African Airways recently announced to deploy Airbus A330-200 for flights between London Heathrow and Johannesburg in South Africa. The airline will start offering tickets aboard its Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route with effect from March 28 2014.
International travellers and South African Airways’ hospitality fans who have long patronised airline’s unparalleled services will soon have the opportunity to net tickets for air travel between London’s popular Heathrow Airport and city of Johannesburg in South Africa aboard carrier’s state-of-the-art Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The popular full service carrier recently revealed it plans to deploy its Airbus A330-200 on its route between London Heathrow Airport and Johannesburg, South Africa. The airline is all set to deploy its Airbus A330-200 aircraft to offer tickets aboard daily flights on its new route with effect from March 28 2014, revealed various online sources.
The new sleek aircraft will replace the A340-600 airliners that are currently used on the route. The new aircraft will operate as SA235, the first of airline’s two daily departures at 19.00 and SA237 flights departing at 21:00.
Gary Kershaw, GM South African Airways, said, “We’ve listened to feedback from our corporate customers and Voyager members around the aspects of their journey that are important to them. We’re delighted to announce these changes to our summer schedule to strengthen our growing reputation for quality.”
Passengers booking business class tickets aboard SAA flights on the route can enjoy more personal cabins and spacious seats 74” seat pitch, 180 degrees flat beds as well as on demand seatback widescreens in a 2-2-2 configuration. In addition, premium travellers booking air tickets with the carrier can also relax at the departure and arrivals lounges at both London Heathrow Airport and Johannesburg airport.
The newer A330-200 aircraft will feature 10 inch widescreen as well as spacious cabins with 2-4-2 seat configuration in the economy class.
