Cape Town all-female comedy foursome Cracks will be on stage at Baxter Theatre in August.
For a chance to enjoy some local comedy, holidaymakers who have taken cheap flights to Cape Town should check out Cracks and the City II.
The show sees Shimmy Isaacs, Anthea Thompson, Anne Hirsch and Marianne Thamm – collectively known as Cracks – perform as part of Women’s Month.
Running from Monday August 1st to Saturday August 13th, the spectacle is about 70 minutes long and costs 100 rand to enter.
The organisers remarked: “Have fun with the hilarious Cracks and their unique view of the world, life, love and everything in between.”
Even for those who have seen the group perform before the show will be special, as it is full of brand new material, including live sketches and pre-recorded segments put together by Alan Committie.
The shows will take place at Baxter Theatre, which also stages dramatic productions such as Purgatorio, which is being acted out until July 30th.
