Anyone who has booked flights to Cape Town should check out one of the city’s hottest eateries, it has been claimed.
People who are visiting South Africa may be planning to visit Cape Town during their time in the city.
If this is the case, then travellers should certainly plan to spend at least one night at Mzoli’s Meat, a butchers and barbeque that has developed quite a following.
According to CNN, the informal barbeque joint is “a place where social and racial barriers are set aside as locals and out-of-towners come together to eat, drink and party”.
The news provider also noted that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is a fan of the establishment and he even commented that the grilled meat served up by Mzoli’s has “incredible flavour”.
Owner Mzoli Ngcawuzele told CNN that customers simply choose their meat and then wait while the chefs cook it for you and serve it to your table.
It is located in the township of Gugulethu and has recently been attracting a host of DJs to play live music and get a party going.
Football fans travelling to South Africa for the World Cup this June may want to find time to visit Mzoli’s and try the barbequed meat while sharing a beer with the locals and other tourists.
