World Cup fever is beginning to take hold and now one airline has announced additional flights to South Africa.
High demand for flights to South Africa sparked the decision by Emirates to increase the number of services it is operating to the country at the start of the tournament.
Richard Vaughan, Emirates’ divisional senior vice-president of commercial operations worldwide, commented: “We are delighted to offer these additional flights to help ensure that as many supporters as possible have the chance to live the unforgettable this summer.”
Fans who have booked flights to Johannesburg during one of the matches do not need to worry about missing any of the action because the airline will provide text updates during the flight, as well as screening the matches on its in-flight entertainment system.
