Jazz singer Dianne Reeves is due to perform live in Johannesburg on August 4th and 5th.
Two performances from American jazz star Dianne Reeves could inspire people to book cheap flights to Johannesburg next week.
The 54-year-old singer is set to appear at the Montecasino Theatre in the South African city on Thursday August 4th and Friday August 5th, giving fans a chance to enjoy her legendary vocal prowess.
Reeves is a multiple Grammy winner, having picked up the award for best jazz vocal performance on four occasions.
She has also collaborated with the likes of Wynton Marsalis and performed with giants of the classical music world, such as conductors Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle.
Her latest album, When You Know, was released in 2008 and includes versions of classic songs like Midnight Sun, Lovin’ You and The Windmills of Your Mind. It also features an original composition by Reeves, entitled Today Will Be A Good Day.
Tickets for Reeves’ two shows in South Africa range in price from 200 rand to 650 rand (£18.40 to £59.80).
