In order to meet the strong demands for tickets on flights running on Philippines-China sector, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is launching flights from Manila to Guangzhou from 16 July 2013.
The flag carrier of Philippines, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is all set to start flights from Manila to Guangzhou – capital of Guangdong province, starting July 16, 2013, offering seamless connectivity to passengers seeking tickets for flights running between Philippines and China.
The carrier will provide tickets for four weekly flights, coding them PR382 and PR 383 on return. It is going to be one of the few full-service carriers to serve the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
“The launching of the Manila – Guangzhou – Manila route aims to further strengthen the strong ties between both cities. More importantly, this will allow business travellers and tourists the chance to spend time in the Philippines, and hop to any of our domestic or international destinations.” said PAL President Ramon S. Ang.
Currently, PAL offers tickets for flying to five destinations in China – Hong Kong, Beijing, Macau, Xiamen and Shanghai. With the launch of new services, business and leisure travellers can reserve tickets for conveniently flying to the historical and cultural gem of the nation.
The tourist traffic to and from the Chinese city is believed to be the reason for the launch of these services. Fliers based in the region and foreign tourists can also take advantage of airline’s vast network and book tickets for travelling to number of domestic and international destinations including the Chinese city from its hub in Manila.
