Air India is all set to start flights from New Delhi to Birmingham from August. It is going to provide tickets for its state of the art Boeing 787-800, ensuring rewarding travelling experience to fliers.
In a bid to offer seamless connectivity to fliers seeking tickets for flights operating between India and UK, the flag carrier of India – Air India has announced the launch of direct flights from New Delhi to Birmingham, effective August 1, 2013.
The route will operate four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Plying the new Boeing 787-800 (Dreamliner) on the route, the airline is going to provide tickets for 18 business class and 238 economy class seats.
“This is fantastic news for our region and we’re delighted that Air India has recognised the strong demand that lies in our catchment and will be operating the new Dreamliner aircraft on the route,” said the Commercial Director, Birmingham Airport.
He further added that there has been significant support from the city. And they are delighted to see that passengers can now reserve tickets for the latest Boeing aircraft and have a fantastic flying experience on these nonstop operations.
The second largest English city is one of the popular destination attracting loads of passengers from India and nearby regions of Asia. The launch of direct services from Delhi would be beneficial for all kinds of fliers including business and leisure travellers who remain on a constant lookout for tickets to fly between the nations.
The flights will depart the capital of India at 1330 hours and arrive in Birmingham at 1800 hours. The return flights will leave the English city at 2130 hours and land in Delhi at 1005 hours.
