Malaysia Airlines is all ready to expand its network on Malaysia-India route. The airline will launch new daytime flights to India connecting Kuala Lumpur to major Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
With Malaysia Airlines introducing new daytime flights on Malaysia-India route from Sept 1, flyers planning a travel on the route have all the reasons to smile.
The airline’s new service will be connecting Kuala Lumpur with Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
Presently, Malaysia Airlines operates daily, evening flights to India from Kuala Lumpur connecting the Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The complemented daytime flights will boost the number of flight options between the destinations, offering opportunities to the travellers to net comparatively cheap flight deals with this Malaysian flag carrier.
Malaysia Airlines’ Regional Senior Vice President for Malaysia and ASEAN, Encik Muzammil Mohamad was quoted as saying, “These are exciting times for those who regularly patronize our flights to Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. As part of our Business Plan strategy to win more customers, we have identified the vast growth potential in the Indian routes and are now set to increasing our services offering more flight choices.

As per the airline’s flight schedule, the daytime flight from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai, flight MH174, will depart every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 09:20 hours and will land in the Indian city at 11:45 hours. The return flight, MH175 will depart from Mumbai at 12:50 hours and will arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 20:20 hours the same day.
The additional daytime flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bengaluru, flight MH104 will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 09:50 hours on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive at 11:20 hours. The return flight MH105 will depart at 12:10 hours and will land in Kuala Lumpur at 18:55 hours.
Apart from this, Malaysian Airlines has increased its flights to Chennai by four weekly daytime flights. The flight MH182 will depart from Kuala Lumpur 09:35 hours on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and will arrive in the South Indian city at 10:45 hours. The return flight will depart from Chennai airport at 11:45 hours and will arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 18:15 hours.
Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru are some of the most significant corporate hubs of India. Including these newly launched services and 12 existing weekly flights, Malaysia Airlines now operates a total of 50 weekly direct and full service flights between India and Malaysia.
