In a bid to offer extensive connections to flyers seeking tickets between Abu Dhabi and Chennai, leading airline of India Jet Airways commenced daily flights on the sector. It has made its mark as the first private airline of India to connect to multiple destinations in Gulf.

Jet Airways has recently launched daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Chennai, a city in Indian state of Tamil Nadu in order to provide seamless connections and more flexible options to global travellers who seek tickets to fly on the route.

“Jet Airways has already established itself as a prestigious brand in the intensely competitive Indo-Gulf sector in a relatively short period of time. This achievement has been on accord of the quality of our in-flight product, which is more than ably complemented by our onboard service standards which are par with the best in the world, said the airline’s senior vice-president.

“We are confident that the daily service from Abu Dhabi to Chennai will prove immensely popular with our guests. Introduction of these flights is an important landmark in the emergence of the airline as India’s premier international airline.” he further added.

Jet Airways’ daily flight from Chennai to Abu Dhabi has added to the choices of travellers from Europe and the UK who can now book tickets aboard connecting flights via the emirate to arrive in South India. Similarly, passengers booking air tickets with Jet Airways to travel from Chennai have enhanced accessibility from Abu Dhabi to various destinations in Europe and Africa with Etihad Airways.

Currently, the operator offers tickets on flights that operate everyday from the capital of the United Arab Emirates to several destinations in India namely Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai and Kuwait.

With these new services, the airline becomes the first private operator in India to provide tickets on flights bound for multiple destinations in the Gulf. Presently the carrier offers tickets on daily services from and to Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Sharjah, Jeddah, Muscat and Riyadh.

According to the schedule, flight 9W 525 departs Abu Dhabi at 1045 hrs and arrives into Chennai, India at 1615 hrs (Local Time). The return flights 9W 526 leave Chennai, India at 2015 and disembark at UAE at 2325 hrs (LT).
