New flights to India and Dubai have been announced by international airline Jet Airways.
The new services will include flights to Dubai from Hyderbad that will add to the airline’s current daily service of two flights to Dubai from Mumbai and between Delhi and Chennai.
“With the growing popularity of Dubai as a leading business and leisure destination, there has been an increasing demand for enhanced air connectivity to the Gulf emirate from southern India,” said Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer of the carrier.
The new flights to Dubai will commence on August 16th and passengers will travel on a “state-of-the-art” Boeing 737-800.
With the addition of this new service, Jet Airways will offer travellers some 17 different flights between India and seven different destinations within the Gulf.
These include Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Bahrain.
Holidaymakers visiting Dubai during October may be interested in absorbing the sights of the Dubai Boating Festival.
A parade, a boat display and a sailing competition are all part of the festivities, says event’s guide WhatsOnWhen.
