In a bid to offer convenient connections to tourists buying flights tickets to visit Mumbai and nearby coastal areas in Maharashtra, the authorities in India are commencing seaplane service.
Seaplanes to Link Mumbai with Maharashtra’s Dams & Beaches
Foreign tourists booking flights tickets to sojourn Mumbai will soon have an option of travelling by amphibious aircraft to other popular destinations in Maharashtra, a state in west-central India.
Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in collaboration with India based Maharashtra Maritime Energy Heli Air Services will start seaplane services in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik from April.
The purpose is to cut down on time consuming journey to the well-known regions located on coast and near dams. According to the sources, tickets for amphibious flights will be reasonably priced and relatively cheap.
Travellers booking tickets can easily jaunt the nearby regions like Lavasa, Bushi Dam, Murud Janjira, Trimbakeshwar, Harihareshwar, Ganpatipule and Pavana Dam.
All flights will take off from JuhuAirport in India’s financial hub of Mumbai. Initially, passengers can make tickets reservations for a journey from the metropolis to Pavana Dam (22 minute), Lavasa (25 minutes) and Murud Janjira (25 minutes).
Mumbai, Pune and Nashik are among the renowned holiday spots in the country and set global holidaymakers on quest for cheap deals for tickets on flights landing in India. These sea planes are going to cater to all kinds of tourists including domestic and foreign vacationers taking India bound flights.
