Travellers booking flights to India may be able to take advantage of cheap domestic flights from Jet Airways.
People planning holidays to India may be interested to know that Jet Airways is introducing cheap advance purchase fares on selected domestic routes.
Travellers looking for cheap flights to Delhi once they are in the country could be in luck as the reduced fares apply to key domestic routes from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
The offer has been launched to coincide with the start of the festive season in India, which includes the Hindu festival of Diwali.
Jet Airways claims that its flights are cheaper than the equivalent first class AC train fares on certain routes and only marginally more expensive on others.
Mr Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer of the airline, said: “These fares are extremely competitively priced vis-a-vis train travel fares and we expect these fares to prove extremely popular with travellers.”
