In a bid to meet the growing demands of tickets seekers, IndiGo, the budget carrier of India launched new services on domestic network and international routes including Dubai and Singapore on March 1.

Popular no-frills carrier of India, IndiGo launched new flights from March 1, offering wide choices to domestic and foreign travellers seeking tickets on various routes within India and to foreign locations.

The airline has expanded its domestic network between major destinations of India including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Kochi. It will run its 5th daily direct flight for Delhi-Chennai sector and second daily direct flight on Delhi-Kochi route. Additionally, the carrier is now offering tickets for its new fourth direct operation on Mumbai-Chennai sector and fourth everyday service linking Mumbai and Kolkata.

Speaking about the latest additions, Aditya Ghosh, president of IndiGo said “We are absolutely delighted to announce 6E’s new flights connecting Delhi with Chennai and Kochi and Mumbai with Kolkata and Chennai. Besides corporate travellers, these new flights will allow many students and leisure travellers to travel between these cities at low fares.”

The India-based budget airline would now be operating 399 flights per day connecting 33 destinations of the country.

Moreover, the carrier made a significant move on the international sector with an introduction of direct daily service between Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai-Singapore. In addition to this, it is doling out tickets for second daily operation on Mumbai-Dubai sector.

The initiative will not only benefit the domestic travellers hunting for cheap deals on tickets but also the international holidaymakers who seek low-fares on tickets to fly out of India.
