Kolkata, a top draw in India that entices hordes of tourists to look for flights tickets, is ready with yet another bait of hot air balloon rides. It will begin from the next year

“In India, Kolkata is the second city to have such a facility for tourists. The first helium balloon rides were initiated in Ahmedabad,” said an official of the trust that is partnering with development authority of the city for the initiative.
“We had to ensure the space was open and without any interfering tree cover. The park will have ticket booths, food kiosks and will be spread over an area of 7,000 square metres,” he further added.
Authorities hope that the initiative is going to catch the fancy of domestic travellers as well as foreign vacationers who will be booking tickets on flights for visiting the metropolis in the near future.
With a capacity of around 20 to 30 passengers, it will take off from a specially built park near the Calcutta Rowing Club. With joyous experience and panoramic views of its renowned landmarks like Victoria Memorial from height of 400 feet, travellers will be able to make the most of their money spent on flights for buying tickets to incredible India.
The cultural hub of the country and home to the Bengal Renaissance, the city of joy already enjoys a great reputation among Europeans, tempting them to book their space on flights by reserving tickets much in advance.
