India can provide travellers with a purse-friendly holiday, it has been claimed.
Those who have booked their cheap flights to India may be pleased to hear the point of view of one travel industry representative.
According to Lynsey Devon, an activity sector PR manager for TUI Travel, India is a destination that provides a wallet-friendly break for all kinds of travellers.
Recession-hit Brits prioritise travel to the region “because it is very good value for money”, Ms Devon added.
Furthermore, she continued, cheap holidays in Dubai could also be a good move as “the Middle East is popular because of its proximity, as it is not hard to get to for families”.
Several reasons why people may want to book cheap flights to India this year have been outlined in the news of late.
Delhi was named India’s richest city last week by the Nielsen Upper Middle and Rich survey, which outlined the location as an affluent metropolis and magnet for the well-heeled.
Furthermore, Mumbai has been singled-out by business and financial news publication Forbes as one of the world’s potential capital cities of the future, with its thriving Bollywood culture and fast-expanding economy.
