Female drivers in Delhi have far fewer accidents than their male counterparts.
People who take flights to Delhi could keep their eyes open for a female taxi driver after they arrive as women drivers have been found to be far safer than their male counterparts.
A study carried out by the police in the Indian capital showed that women drivers accounted for less than one per cent of serious accidents in the city.
Out of the 1,147 people who were arrested for road collisions in the last year, only eight were female.
In addition, only two per cent of all accidents on roads in the city involve female drivers.
The statistics come despite many people in the location having the view that women are much more aggressive drivers who cause the majority of accidents.
Taking flights to Delhi could be the plan of many people heading to India after Paarth Kumar, editor for Indiatravelblog.net, said the destination is full of must-see attractions.
