The launch of a new budget room website could help those taking cheap flights to India to make further savings.
Rajesh Yadav, chief executive officer at Paltux Technologies, confirmed the new website will eventually cover a number of cities worldwide including those in the US and Europe.
So far, plans are in place for Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Goa to be added by the end of the year, while Kolkata and Chennai will be introduced by March 2011.
“We are focused on corporate guests, professionals, business travellers, foreign tourists and domestic travellers, who may not want to fork out lots of money,” explained Mr Yadav.
India is set to host the 2010 Commonwealth Games comma, which are due to begin in four days’ time.
