Anyone looking for something a little different from their holidays may want to consider visiting Kerala and undertaking an unusual tour.
People who are planning to book flights to India, but have yet to decide where to visit in the vast country, may want to think about travelling to the southern state of Kerala.
In a selection of alternative breaks compiled by the Daily Telegraph, a singing tour in Kerala was among the options suggested for the “reluctant traveller”.
According to the newspaper, “trying something new doesn’t have to mean leaping about”.

Located in the picturesque backwaters of Kerala, guests at the hotel will be given time to explore the surrounding area as well as starting each day off with a song.
Among Kerala’s attractions are the Periyar Tiger Reserve, Fort Cochin and the backwaters themselves, which are a complex canal system fringed by rainforests.
Other excursions on offer as part of the singing holiday include a stay in the hill-station of Munnar and a visit to the town of Thekaddy, which is surrounded by spice gardens.
