Frances Mayes has spoken about how she wants to travel to Asia.
The author of the best-selling book Under the Tuscan Sun has been talking about her desire to visit other countries.
Frances Mayes wrote her story of moving to Italy to start a new life 20 years ago and now, with a new book about life in the country about to hit the shelves, she’s been talking about other destinations to visit.
In an interview with CNN, she said that she wants to travel to a number of countries over the coming years.
“I want to go to India and Egypt,” Ms Mayes commented. “There are so many places I haven’t been.”
Anyone who books flights to India in the future may find the author among their fellow passengers if she realises her dream.
Some travellers could be inspired to visit Delhi later this year when it hosts the Commonwealth Games.
Thousands are expected to attend the sporting event, which will take place between October 3rd and 14th.
