UAE’s flag carrier, Etihad Airways is planning to introduce daily flights from its hub, Abu Dhabi to Jaipur in India. Commencing in April 2014, it will allow extensive connectivity and wider option on tickets on India-UAE flights.
Etihad Airways has announced the launch of its daily service to popular Indian city of Jaipur in April 2014, offering added options and seamless connectivity to leisure vacationers as well as business travellers who seek tickets to fly between India and UAE.
The new route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration. The carrier is going to offer tickets for 16 Pearl Business Class seats and 120 Coral Economy Class seats. As per the release, tickets reservations are open.
With these new flights, the total number of Indian cities served by Etihad would rise to 10. Its existing routes include Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kozhikode.
“India is one of the world’s fastest-growing destinations and a key market in the growth strategy of Etihad Airways,” said the airline’s president.
He further added that flyers from Jaipur would benefit from the airline’s “seamless connections to the Gulf region and Middle East, as well as Africa, Europe and North America, via our Abu Dhabi hub”.
Jaipur is one of the most famous destinations in India and ranks high on the itinerary of both business and leisure travellers who book tickets on flights arriving in the country. The addition of daily flights will directly benefit these fliers and provide flexible connectivity. Furthermore, Britons and other Europeans can take advantage of these flights while flying into India.
The flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad is looking to meet the growing traffic of fliers buying tickets to travel to and from India. In addition to introducing Jaipur flights, it is substantially increasing the frequency and number of seats on its existing services to various major cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi and others.
