Golf fans in Dubai will be able to add some Argentine flavour to their day on the green.

Travellers taking flights to Dubai with Emirates who intend to play some golf during their trip could find the emirate’s most popular course has taken on an Argentine influence.

The airline is currently celebrating opening its first route to Buenos Aires by hosting a series of events based on the country’s famous culture at the Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Emirates has transformed the hospitality suite overlooking the 18th green to have an Argentinian theme.

Those who fancy picking up some fancy footwork between holes will be able to learn some Tango steps with a series of short lessons being held in the Emirates booth in the village.

All the fun activities are being held to coincide with the ongoing Rolex Pro-Am event which is also being held at the golf course.

Some people who take flights to Dubai could be feeling in a charitable mood after a charity event held in the emirate raised more than $1 million (£640,000) for good causes.
