Djokovic has confirmed he will be appearing in Abu Dhabi for the first time.
Travellers booking flights to Abu Dhabi in order to see the forthcoming Mubadala World Tennis Championships could see Novak Djokovic play.
The current world men’s number one has announced that he will be appearing at the event at the end of the year.
Djokovic is the undeniable champion of the men’s game this year, having won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the world number two and four players respectively, have also confirmed they will be taking part in the contest from December 29th to 31st.
The competition is separate to the rest of the ATP Tour and has only been taking place since 2009, when Andy Murray beat Nadal in the final.
People who take flights to Abu Dhabi regularly with Etihad Airlines could be interested to know they can now use their frequent flyer points on journeys provided by American Airways.
